Flypp in your Office files
Your report stays in Word, your deck in PowerPoint, your team in Teams. Flypp makes one part of them come alive.
First, once per deck: in the editor, choose Share, publish the deck as a link,
and tick Let other websites show it. Without that tick, a hosted deck refuses to be shown inside anything else.
Copy the link (it looks like https://flypp.co.uk/d/…); for SharePoint, copy the embed code beneath it.
In PowerPoint
- On the slide where the deck should play, choose Insert → Get Add-ins (or Add-ins), search for Web Viewer and add it.
- Paste the deck's link into the add-in and choose to show it. Size the frame on the slide like a picture.
- In Slide Show the deck plays and works there: sliders, buttons, branches, 3D models. The rest of the presentation is untouched.
The add-in shows the page over the internet, so the room needs a connection. Keep the exported file (File → Export → Web page) as a fallback: it plays from disk with no network at all.
In Teams
- In a channel or chat, choose + beside the tabs, then Website.
- Name the tab and paste the deck's link. Everyone in the channel can open and use it there.
In SharePoint
- Edit the page, add an Embed web part and paste the embed code from the Share dialog.
- If SharePoint says embedding from this site isn't allowed, a site owner adds
flypp.co.ukunder Site settings → HTML Field Security. That is a one-off setting for the site.
By email, or anywhere offline
Export the deck as a web page and attach the file. It opens in any browser, works with no network, and needs no account to use. Mail apps that preview attachments show its first screen.
What stays where
- The Word report, the PowerPoint deck and their version history stay where your document control keeps them.
- An embedded Flypp deck always shows the version you last shared, so update it in Flypp and every embed follows.
- A hosted deck plays in a sealed frame: it cannot read the page around it, your sign-in or anything else in Office.
